Reason for establishing the research institute

As part of activities to utilize the Aviation Heritage Succession Fund of the Japan Aviation Association, a general incorporated foundation.

"J-BIRD: Prewar Japanese Civil Aircraft Viewed with Photos and Registration Numbers" has been published.

Enlightened by this, I inherited the legacy left by my father-in-law (Glider, Marine sport boat, paraglider, etc.)

Last year on December 16, 2021, in order to pass on the various developed machines to future generations.

"Osamu Saito GLIDER Aeronautical Technology Research Institute" has been established.

Activity purpose and policy

aaa.png

For those who build aircraft, those who fly them, and those who are interested in aircraft including GLIDER,

Our policy is to create detailed procedures (assembly process details) from design to production of the actual machine.

The important philosophy for manufacturing actual machines is to first and foremost design for safety.

I hope this will be of help to those who are planning to create it in the future.
